The application menu contains five
categories: File, View, SourceSafe,
Database and Help.
1. File Menu

New Connection |
- Create a new connection. |
|
Open Connection |
- Open an existing connection. |
|
Configuration… |
- Modify/View settings in the current connection. |
|
Save |
- Save current connection. |
|
Save As… |
- Save current connection under a different connection
name. |
|
Add File… |
- Add database item in SQL Server to SourceSafe. |
|
Label |
- Label selected database item(s) with a specified version
name. |
|
Properties |
- Show property of the selected database item. |
|
Recent
Files |
- Recent Connection files created by the user. |
|
Exit |
- Exit the application. |
2. View Menu
|
View |
- View script of the selected database item script. |
|
Refresh |
- Refresh the displays on SourceSafe Pane and/or SQL
Server Pane. It serves as reset as well. |
|
Clear Message Panel |
- Clear the display on the Message Pane. |
|
License |
- Set license information. It is used for upgrading a
trial version of the software to a licensed version. |
3. SourceSafe Menu
|
Get Latest Version |
- Get latest version of selected database item(s). |
|
Check Out |
- Check out selected database item(s). |
|
Check In |
- Check in selected database item(s). |
|
Undo Check Out |
- Undo Check Out of selected database item(s). |
|
Show History |
- Show History of the selected database item in
SourceSafe. |
|
Show Differences |
- View differences between the selected database item in
SourceSafe and the item in SQL Server. |
|
Delete |
- Delete selected database item(s) or project |
4. Database Menu
|
Add New Table |
- Add a new table in SQL Server database. |
|
Add New Stored Procedure |
- Add a new stored procedure in SQL Server database. |
|
Add New View |
- Add a new view in SQL Server database. |
|
Add New User Defined Function |
- Add a new User Defined Function in SQL Server Database. |
|
Edit |
- Edit selected database item in SQL Server. |
|
Rename |
- Rename selected database item in SQL Server. |
|
Delete |
- Delete selected database item in SQL Server. |
|
SQL Analyzer |
- Launch Query Analyzer. |
