To open an existing connection, choose File\Open Connection from the
main menu. Then select a connection file (.XML file) from the Open File Dialog Box
and double click on it. The SQLSourceSafe will open the connection wizard with
the configuration information from the selected connection file. The connection
wizard will walk you through to validate the connection settings. After going
thru the connection wizard, it will start the connection using the information
provided in the connection. If there is a change in the connection file, the
system prompt you the change of the connection. You can save or ignore the
change in the connection.
For connection created previous, you can use File \
Recent Files to open previous created connection quickly.
To change connection properties, choose File\Configuration from the main
menu. It will display all the
configuration information of your connection in the Connection Wizard. You can
modify the previous settings.
