About this release

SQLSourceSafe 3.1 is a upgrade release over previous 3.0 releases. It provides full support for configurable ASCII and Unicode encoding for SQL objects. It detects configuration differences if the encoding method on the project and the SQLSourceSafe is not the same.  It contains many bug fixes for previous V3.0.

Who needs this upgrade?

• Release 3.1 is a function-enhancement release. All users using SQLSourceSafe are recommended to use the new release, though it is not mandatory.
